Atlanta Housing Market Update - October 2022

While the Atlanta real estate market is markedly different than it was in 2021, or even in early 2022, it is still a fairly competitive seller's market.

Time on market for homes in the Atlanta area is 25 days, on average. The average home sells for 1% above list price, while some homes can go for more, depending on the condition of the home. Our team isn't seeing as many long lines for showings, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Buyers have gotten savvier, and as home values continue to rise along with interest rates, they're making sure that their investment is well worth it. The average home value in the Atlanta area is $410,000, which is still a hefty 11% more than the previous year.
